Community Rules

Rules version 2026-08-12. Participation requires acceptance of these rules, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use.

Participation rules

1. Adults only. Members must be at least 18. Self-attestation is not independent age verification.
2. Respect members. No harassment, coercion, body shaming, threats, or sexual solicitation.
3. Protect minors. Never request, share, describe for sexual purposes, or link to sexual or genital content involving a minor.
4. Protect privacy. No doxxing or personally identifying information. Do not pressure anyone to share photographs, medical records, or private details.
5. Keep discussion text-only. No images, uploads, attachments, direct messages, or embedded media.
6. Respect medical limits. Do not diagnose others, give dangerous instructions, or present anecdotal routines as validated protocols or guaranteed outcomes.
7. Be authentic. No spam, impersonation, commercial astroturfing, undisclosed promotion, or manipulation.
8. Follow moderator instructions. Moderators may hide or remove content, lock discussions, warn, or suspend participation.

Warnings, suspensions, and appeals

Moderators may use a reminder, formal warning, or a 24-hour, 72-hour, 7-day, 30-day, or indefinite community suspension. Severe conduct—including minor-safety violations, threats, doxxing, sexual solicitation, credible impersonation, repeated dangerous medical instructions, or serious harassment—may bypass lower levels. Enforcement is not entirely automatic and moderator judgment remains necessary.

Use the Report action on a topic or reply. Reports and optional explanations are private to moderators. A warned or suspended member may submit one private appeal per action through the appeal page. Another moderator or administrator should review where practical; independent arbitration is not promised.

Account security

Use a unique password, protect password-reset messages, and report suspected account compromise. Attempts to evade suspension or impersonate staff may result in further action.
